Platinum Orange Blossom Band dated 1932
A beautiful Art Deco wedding band of a unique layered construction of 18k white gold and platinum chased with a stylized motif of orange blossoms. Engraved inside with a dedication dated to 1930.
Details: Measuring approximately 2 mm wide and 1.7 mm thick. Marked inside the band for 18k and platinum next to an illegible jeweler' hallmark. Engraved inside "R.A.E. to E.L.A. 6-10-32" Weighs approximately 2.1 grams.
Size: Size 4 3/4 and not resizable.
Condition: In excellent condition with crisp details and a light patina speaking to its dignified age.
History: Throughout history and across cultures, orange blossom flowers have symbolized purity, innocence, chastity and fertility. Queen Victoria's preference of them for her wedding wreath assured their position as "The" bridal flower throughout the rest of the 19th century, and still today it's considered the classically romantic choice.
