I really love antique Victorian pavé turquoise, and this horseshoe brooch is set with the most beautiful range of blue/green stones. Natural turquoise can change color over years of handling and in this case it's created a rich mosaic effect.
Perfect for accenting scarves, hats and lapels.
Details: The brooch measures approximately 1 3/4" by 1 7/16", marked for 800 silver on the back with unidentified but likely European hallmarks. The hinge and C-clasp are in strong working order, though they are early 20th century replacements from the original.
Condition: In excellent condition with a rich patina and some visible natural matrix on the turquoise, but no significant scratches or cracks.
