A striking vintage brooch circa 1940, crafted in sterling silver featuring twin flying swallows joined by double lengths of rope chain. Perfect for a lapel, the collar of a button down shirt, the shoulder of a cardigan or arranged across the front of a vest; each bird has a pin back and the chains can't help but swag gracefully no matter how you place the swallows.
Details: Each bird measures approximately 1 7/8" across the wingspan and 1 1/4" high, the chains are 5" and 6". Marked sterling on the backs of the pins.
Condition: In excellent vintage condition with a lovely patina and minimal wear to the details. The hinges and clasps are in strong working order.
