Antique Miniature Mesh Purse Pendant in 18k

Originally meant as a Victorian ladies' chatelaine accessory circa 1890, this petite purse is crafted in supple 18k yellow gold mesh with an ornately engraved frame. Today it's the perfect luxe pendant suitable for holding a small memento, a lucky coin or two, or perhaps a pharmaceutical antidote to the headaches caused by modern life.
Details: Measuring approximately 2 3/4" long, including the clasp knobs and 2 1/4" across the width of the frame. With the French eagle head hallmark for 18k on the side of the frame, weighs approximately 36.8 grams.
Condition: It's in excellent condition with a rich patina and some slight oxidization on the inside of the frame, but no missing links in the mesh or dents in the frame.
