Edwardian Diamond & Pearl Lavaliere

$1,400.00

Circa 1915, an elegant Edwardian lavaliere crafted in 14k yellow and white gold. The delicacy of the design is a perfect counterpoint to the blazing bright old mine-cut diamond set in the center, approximately .15 ct., accented by a single creamy pearl and finished with a fiery old mine-cut diamond drop, approximately .18 ct.

It would be a wonderful piece for the bride who wants a romantic antique vibe; combining the gemlore of pearls and their symbolic reference to faithfulness and purity of heart with the diamonds representing the eternal nature of true love. By the same token, a thoughtful choice as an engagement or anniversary gift.

DETAILS: 1 1/4" long, not including the jump ring at the top, and 9/16" at the widest. Hung from a contemporary 17" 14k yellow gold chain. Not marked for metal content but acid tests to 14k.

CONDITION: In excellent condition with a gentle patina.
