Vintage Jade Bead Necklace

We've knotted vintage natural celadon-green jadeite beads on emerald silk with a section of antique gold-filled long & short cable chain, finishing the strand with a Victorian gold-filled dog clip clasp that can easily double as a pendant holder.

An interesting addition to your daily necklace game, able to stand alone as a solo statement, or add a note of peaceful color to a layered look.

For centuries jade has been considered a protection gem, promoting peace, calm and stability, making this perfect for suspending your favorite talisman charms. 

Details: Measuring approximately 17 3/8" long. The circa 1940-50 genuine jadeite beads have a slightly gradiant celedon-green color range with a few showing natural and stable internal inclusions, some of which reach the surface. The beads range in size from 5 mm - 7 mm, with the chain section approximately 6" long.

Condition: In excellent condition free of chips or obvious scratches, we've left the beads in their vintage state so some are shinier than others. The gold filled chain and clasp have a light patina and some subtle wear to the surface.
