Watch Chain Necklace in 14k

A sturdy cable-link watch chain necklace crafted in 14k bright lemon-yellow gold circa 1920, the original clip and bolt ring clasps serve beautifully as pendant or charm holders. Gold of this color, a product of more silver in the alloy than copper, is sometimes referred to as "green gold", it was a popular alloy mix for yellow gold in the late 1910s and 1920's.

It's the perfect sleek statement on its own, it also works well as a rich layering piece with other chains and necklaces. The clasps at each end make it a versatile piece for styling charms or pendants.

Details: Approximately 15 5/8" long, the links are 2 mm wide. The clip clasp is marked for 14k, the chain XRF tests to 14k. Weighs approximately 9.4 grams.
