Vintage Georgian Revival 18k Tourmaline & Diamond Ring

$1,450.00

A vintage Georgian revival ring crafted in 18k yellow gold featuring a bottle-green natural tourmaline set in the center of a silver starburst, the rays accented by foiled table-cut diamonds. The chased Rococo-style design of the shoulders extends towards the back of the band, a lush pattern that makes an elegant statement.

Green tourmaline has been known since roughly the 16th century, discovered in Brazil and once known as "Brazilian Emerald". Metaphysically it's believed to nuture creativity, compassion and joy, as well as facilitate financial good fortune.

Perhaps the perfect gift for the artistically inclined philanthropist on your list.

Details: Measuring approximately 7/16" north to south at the front tapering through to a 3.75 mm width at the center back of the band. Hallmarked inside the band indicating Polish origin, 18k, manufactured circa 1963, with additional illegible European hallmarks on the outside of the back of the band.

Size: Currently size 8 3/4 and slightly resizable. Please message us before purchase if you are interested in the details of our sizing service.

Condition: There is some slight age related wear to the top of the tourmaline visible with a 10X loupe, as well as to the silver mountings of the diamonds, but overall in excellent condition.
