Circa 1940 a lovely 14k yellow gold heart locket, beautifully engraved on the front cover with a Victorian-style flower motif. There's a small cartouche on the front that could accommodate a single initial, and the back is plain and could be engraved with a date or special dedication.
Please convo me before purchase if you are interested in the details of our engraving service.
Measuring approximately 1" north to south, and 7/8" east to west, with space inside for two photographs and both of the original photo holders. Hung from a fine 20" yellow gold-filled cable chain.
In excellent overall condition with a gentle patina, but no disfiguring scratches or dents, and some slight oxidization on the inside. Marked on the back for 14k with the jeweler's hallmark for J.M. Fisher Company, manufacturing jewelers out of Attleboro Massachusetts founded in 1909.
