A new series of pendants cast in solid sterling silver after antique medal fobs in my collection, each one hand-engraved using centuries-old techniques with epitaphs and images taken from both classical and modern references: Ancient Rome to Rhianna.
Personal talisman mottos for a life well-lived; wear it out loud.
"Semper Parata" translates to "Always Prepared" (feminine form); a Latin motto that celebrates a quick-witted approach to life and its various adventures. The squirrel is an animal totem of practicality, energy, resourcefulness and play; in this image the squirrel holds a flower, a representation of her friendly nature and outgoing personality.
Measuring approximately 1 1/4" long from top of attached bail to bottom, and 1" east to west. Hung from a fine 20" sterling silver cable chain.
Patinaed in a special formula to bring out the details. The casting process has preserved the antique charm of the original fob. Marked for sterling on the clasp.
Please convo if you have a special request for your own personal motto.
