Our one-of-a-kind 14k yellow gold boulder-opal ring celebrates the natural beauty of this incredible gemstone with a gracefully undulating branch band and hand-hammered texture that emphasizes it's slightly rustic nature: organic minimalism with a brutalist vibe. It's designed to stand on its own as a unique statement, but it also plays well with other pieces adding texture to your daily ring stack. The companion stones, blue topaz, blue and green diamonds and tsavorite garnet, play to the galactic color of the opals: electric blue and green vibrate around the ironstone matrix with flashes of teal, marine and chartreuse at certain angles. Measuring approximately 1 1/4" north to south at the face, the shank varies slightly in width in the 2-3 mm range all around. Currently size 6 1/2 and resizable at least three full sizes without issue. Please convo me before purchase if you are interested in the details of our sizing service. Boulder opal was first discovered in Western Queensland, Australia in 1870; Australian Aboriginal legend describes opal as evidence of The Creator's visit to earth to council mankind, divine footsteps that brought the rock to life with energy, light and color. The intensely colored opal vein forms in ironstone boulders, and usually when cut some of this host stone is included as a rich contrast to the magical iridescence of the gem. It's one of the most valuable forms of opal: a fascinating mix of primitive and refined. Marked for 14k inside the band. We are committed to renewing resources and only use recycled gold for our handmade pieces. ❃ The Eden Collective Ring Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheEdenCollective?section_id=13939721&ref=shopsection_leftnav_1 ❃ We are happy to offer layaway.
