A beautiful Art Deco wedding band crafted in 19k white gold with an eternity motif of graphically stylized dogwood flowers chased around the outside. The finely milgrained border defines the design and adds a subtle textural interest to the delicately carved blossoms.
It's understated and elegant, feminine but not too fancy and would compliment a variety of engagement ring styles. This also makes a perfect stacking band worn with a collection of other interesting vintage pieces or by itself to accent a larger ring with it's lovely detail.
Measuring approximately 2.25 mm wide and 1.51 mm thick. Size 5 1/4 full and not resizable due to the eternity nature of the design.
The dogwood blossom signifies constancy and endurance. In ring form it's a silent pledge, a steadfast vow without having to say a word. A wonderfully poignant motif for a wedding or commitment band.
In excellent condition with minimal wear. Inscribed inside with the dedication "J.J.L. to M.Mc.C. 2-3-26". Weight approximately 2.4 grams.
Marked on the inside of the ring 19k next to the trademark name "Bride's Choice" and the hallmark for Alfred Humbert & Son, manufacturing jewelers out of Phila, Pa. founded in 1884.
