Originally a small scatter brooch circa 1950, we repurposed this charming winged insect as a ring using a sleek stackable band of our own design cast in 14k recycled yellow gold. Modeled in a stylized fashion, he's a little bit fly-like and might owe something to the bee as well; crafted in 14k yellow gold with a natural amethyst cabochon body and garnets so deeply red they appear a sparkling black as his eyes.
A lovely accent to the nature lover's ring stack, or a delightfully irreverent statement worn alone. Measuring approximately 5/8" north to south and 11/16" east to west at the widest spread of his legs. The band measures approximately 2.71 mm at the shoulder, very slightly tapering to 2.11 mm at the center back.
Currently size 7 and resizable at least two to three full sizes. Please convo me before purchase if you are interested in the details of our sizing service.
In excellent condition. Marked for 14k inside the band. Please note the ring is photographed with light behind it, the amethyst will appear a deeper purple when on the finger.
