Vintage UV Green Spinel Ring

A vintage cocktail ring circa 1940 crafted in 14k yellow gold featuring a large radiant-cut lab-created green UV spinel of softly glowing chartreuse, similar to the color and effect of a Uranium or Vaseline glass gem. In natural light it has show-stopping sparkle and an ethereal yellow-green color, but if you have a black light handy it will glow an otherworldly phosphorescent blue/green. 

Details: Measuring approximately 12 mm north to south, a hair shy of 1/2", and 3/8" east to west across the setting, with a 5/16" rise when worn and curved saddle to keep it properly face up on the finger. Marked for 14k inside the band, weighs approximately 5.8 grams.
